  I highly recommend NATASHA for curly cuts and styles. She has gorgeous curls herself, and she's pro-curls. I'm on a severely limited budget, but when I can splurge, I see Natasha for a cut/style ($45-65). I've been a client of hers for the past few years; not only is she competent, but she's mellow and pleasant. She shampoos and cuts hair wet, but knows not to stick me under the dryer; she typically diffuses my hair. She knows how to shape my curls via cutting and can explain how to achieve a style at home. I always feel like I'm in good hands with Natasha. Good luck in your salon search ;)

  Review:

  Miriam came recommended by a neighbor with perfect curls, so I made an appt for the next available date, which was 3 weeks later! Well, Miriam seemed knowledgeable about curly hair and encouraged me to like what I had, but all of her talk was peppered with "our this product and our that product" yada yada. When I asked her for comparable products I could purchase in the store, I swear, my haircut was over and I was escorted out to the lobby where I had to pay $75!
