  I was extremely nervous going to a new salon and getting a short cut after over a decade of long hair. I have had so many bad experiences in which folks keep "evening out" the sides as my hair dries to the point where it's only about an inch long & looks like a brillo pad. Denise has curly hair herself, looked at the pictures I brought, and at my face and bone structure, and then gave me a fantastic cut. It's the first time I've felt stylish in probably 20 years. She was informative without being condesending and very pleasant. After several months, I'm going back again next week.

  I have been going to Denise for the past 6 years. She is the BEST at cutting curly hair. She knows what a trim really means and she also knows how to create layers and give my hair a full look, but not create a triangle head. After numerous bad haircuts and colors, I found Denise while she was working in San Diego and I am so excited she is now in Orange County.
