  I went to Alexa at Modern Concepts after reading the reviews on this site. This is the first time I have ever liked my hair cut after leaving a salon. It was nice to be able to explain how I wanted my curls to look and feel and have a stylist understand (she has curly hair herself). My hair lays flatter with less frizz, and the layers are much more integrated into the entire shape. I'm not 100% sold yet on the Deva products that she uses. However, she did not push me into buying any particular products. I was up for trying new ones. But most importantly, I feel that I got a really great haircut. I will definitely be returning to the salon.
