- Ande has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years and I refuse to let anyone else come close to my curls. I have very curly hair (3B) and before I found Ande, people would only comment on how curly my hair was and to ask if it was natural. Now that Ande cuts my hair people stop me to compliment my haircut and ask who did it. She really understands how to cut and style curly hair while working with your curls' natural tendencies.

- I went here based on the reviews from this site, but I didn't have time to wait for an appt with one of the stylists mentioned. When I called, I specifically mentioned it and asked for a stylist with curly hair experience. The salon is very chic and also huge. I should have known from the time the stylist suggested to wash my hair first, that she was clueless. She was the worst kind of clueless - she didn't even pretend to care. I had a photo session that day and she just recommended blowing my hair out straight. I asked for a curly style and she didn't even try. The mall salon girl did a 100 times better job at my last haircut and I thought she had no idea what she was doing. At least when she was done it looked cute, even if the cut was all wrong. This girl Shayna had no clue how to cut properly, or what products to use, or avoid. I am pretty sure she put silicone on my hair even though I told her not to. I even had her wash it out and try again, but it was useless. My hair looked awful for my pictures, and now it will be another 3-4 months before the damage from this awful cut will be grown out. I just thought I would warn you all - go ahead and try Spalon Montage, but beware of inexperienced stylists! I won't be making that mistake again.

- Adam is FABULOUS! I've been going to him for over 2 years now, and he really has an understanding for how curly hair works, and how to cut it appropriately. He'll walk you through the steps of how to style your curly hair, what products to use, and diffuser techniques. Also, if you like a great blow out like I do when I go to the salon, he is the BEST!! I always feel so glamorous when I leave!
