  I straightened my hair every day until 2 years ago when I met Mark. My hair is very thick, and I didn't know how to wear it curly until I met Mark. Mark gave me an amazing curly-hair haircut. I went from spending 1 hour every day straightening my hair to and letting it air dry after I shower and wearing it curly. Mark doesn’t believe in texturing curly hair - since it makes it frizzy. He gave me an extremely manageable "CURLY" haircut. I have been using Mark exclusively for the past 2 years and will continue to use Mark as my go-to hairstylist. He is very personable and funny! You can't go wrong with Mark. I highly recommend Mark Marcell to anyone with CURLY hair!

  I highly recommend Mark to anyone with curls...He knows what he's doing!! He has a head full of curls himself and understands what curly hair needs and how to handle it. He obviously enjoys what he does and puts you totally at ease during your appointment. Give him a call...you won't regret it!!

  Mark is awesome with curls! He is absolutely the only person I trust cutting my hair. He understands what curly hair is like because he has it himself and he taught me how to diffuse my hair so I don't look like a poodle. I can't tell you how many people have stopped me to ask who cuts my hair. He is in Uptown Wednesdays - Saturday at On the Avenue Salon, but on Tuesdays he is at Sola up in Plano so that he can take care of his clients that live further up north. He also does color!
