- I am delighted to have a Deva salon in my neighborhood. I have had my share of Quidads cuts, but none compare to the simplicity in doing my hair everyday. Jesy has given set my curls dancing. She knows "curls." It is my second Deva cut and I couldn't be happier. It's nice to go to a place that embraces a women's naturally curly hair.

- I am glad I tried the "Deva" cut. I would always see curly cuts that looked fresh, updated and fun and after having a Deva cut I finally got the look too. I have been going to Jesy since last year and she is very knowledgeable, has great advice and really listens to your hair "desires".
Also, the rest of the staff is very nice and welcoming...overally great experience. Try it~

- I came to Jesy after attempting to grow out one of the worst haircuts of all time. My only saving grace was that I hadn't colored in years and I only lightly diffuse my hair with the Devafuser so it was relatively healthy. I told her I needed a dry cut, that I had been shampoo free for almost 5 years, and that I needed to see what it would look like FINISHED before I walked out the door. She was super easy to work with, and everyone else in the salon was great. I was cut dry, rinsed and conditioned, plopped, gelled, clipped, and dryed. Jesy told me to do exactly what I would do in the morning so she could fix the cut, and when I left I felt great. She really takes her time to examine your hair and pay attention to the cut. The tiniest snips turn into a great shape and style.0
Jesy sent me several emails explaining my hair was too short and curly for Ombre. I realized she hadn't seen me in 6 months and had no idea it was much longer and less tight - she remembered exactly what my last cut looked like and was watching out for my style. She definitely has your back. Today was a bit of a Deva party at SS - everyone was curly and discussing products, methods, and treatments with one another. Salon Studio is really comfortable and everyone, even the other clients, are friendly. It's a genuine curly community. Everyone there is really talented and it shows. I'm now at a point that I would never touch my hair with scissors like I used to nor would I let anyone else do my hair other than Jesy. I would absolutely recommend her!!!

- I had a great experience at Salon Studio! I researched salons that specialize in curly hair and went with Salon Studio based on the reviews. Joanna listened to what I wanted and took the time to go through various options for styles. She also gave many tips for hair care. The cut turned out great and it was exactly what I wanted. Overall, I love my new hair cut and would definitely recommend this place for anyone with curly or straight hair! Thanks Joanna!

- I went to Salon Studio for the first time a couple of months ago and loved it. Jesy cut and colored my hair and I got my first deva treatment. My hair never ever looked that good and lasted for 3 days. Loved it. She was fantastic and the salon is beautiful. The stylists are all warm and friendly, but it is still a trendy type salon. Perfect combination. I just made my second appt. I found a new home!

- I have had such a hard time finding someone to properly cut my hair & am very happy to have found Meghan. She cut my hair dry & seemed to know what she was doing--I certainly have a much more flattering style now than before I went in. I've had a lot of compliments. I will go back to Meghan & definitely recommend her.
A couple of things:
I did have to go in for an adjustment, b/c a few pieces were quite long. I kind of thought the point of a dry cut was to see the curl pattern & am a little surprised this happened, but maybe it's normal; I guess your hair doesn't curl the exact same way every day. And the same thing happened with my previous dry cut at a different salon, so maybe it's just part of the process. It was a pain to go back but it was superquick & easy & now everything is great.
I was a bit distressed when she planned to use a product on me that had silicones (or sulfates--sorry, I can't remember which; cones make more sense though). Anyway, I asked if it had them, & she checked with a colleague, who said yes. Truthfully I'm not so sure it would have been so horrible to use the product, but I figure avoiding cones is such a major CG rule (& the salon stresses its Deva know-how) that I was surprised. But when I said no, she used Deva products instead, so I know they were CG friendly & no harm was done.
The price was an issue for me. A Deva cut is normally $100, although I had a coupon so it was less. B/c of the price, I will only go in infrequently.
But the salon is really nice & while I waited for my appt they made me the best cappucino I've ever had! :-)

- I've been going to Jesy for 5 years, and I won't let anyone else touch my hair! She cut it when it was long (down to my butt!), short, and a few lengths in between, and they've all looked amazing. When I first went to her, my hair was a mess. I hated my curls, couldn't manage my frizz, and had never found a haircut I was happy with. Jesy changed ALL of that. She cut it dry, got rid of all the extra poofy-ness and frizzy-ness and got my hair to fall in these beautiful, well-defined ringlets. Not only did it look great when she was done, but Jesy also took the time to teach me about my curls and how to style them at home so that I could get them to look just as great when I did it myself. Now, it takes me 15 minutes or less to do my hair in the morning, and people are always telling me how beautiful my curls look. If you have curly hair, and need a great stylist, I definitely recommend Jesy!
