Shirley is the salon owner and a curly girl herself. I'm a 3a & have lots of fine hair which can easily frizz in the wrong hands. She can both cut and blow dry my hair out straight successfully (or style it curly depending on my whim). I regularly have my gray covered but don't want it all one color. Shirley understands how to highlight my hair so I don't have those funny-looking chunks in it when I wear it curly...cute on you young thangs but ridiculous at my...ahem...more mature age. :-)
