- While I was so so happy with my haircut that Yulia gave me, I have to agree with one of the previous posts that say the feeling in the Salon is uptight. I lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for 25 years, but never knew about the Ouidad cut. I went to this salon b/c of the reviews. I travel from Northeast Georgia (Near Athens) to go here. I am going to try the new salon in Peachtree City soon. Hopefully the people there will be friendlier and make me feel comfortable, not like they are better than me! One of the reasons I left the Lauderdale area. Alot of the places of business are rude and uninviting. lol, and the people that work them are too.

- I live in Sarasota and I make sure to mark off time every 6 months to drive down to Las Olas salon to get my hair cut. My daughter told me about the Oudiad stylists here and I love this style of cutting! It's the first time I feel like I can make my hair look just as good at home as when I get it done at the salon. Looking forward to another great haircut in June!!!

- I first tried the Ouidad haircut at the Las Olas salon and loved how it turned out. Ft. Lauderdale is about 5 hours from where I live, but it was worth the drive. I even got my mom hooked. When we heard there were new Ouidad certified salons closer to home, we thought 'perfect! we can still get our haircuts and save on gas!' The haircuts were okay, but we could definitely tell the difference in the experience levels and how our hair didn't stay manageable for quite as long. So, we're now back to driving to Ft. Lauderdale, which doesn't bother us, because we get such beautiful haircuts there. I just had a daughter and can't wait til she's old enough for her first Ouidad cut!!!

- What can I say beyond Yulia rocks my socks off. She is the most skilled person to ever lay a sheer on my head and can take me blonde faster than anyone! She is absolutely amazing at everything she does and I would NEVER let any one touch my hair. She also so much fun to chit chat with. Many of my friends with curly hair go to her because they have curly hair and she SPECIALIZES in Ouidad. Trust me, you will always leave happy with Yulia!!

- I've been going to Adrianna since 2006 and I love what she does for my hair! I have super thick, coarse, spiral curls (3b/c)and her haircuts are the reason I can wear my hair curly. She's also super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about products and hair care and very willing to share that knowledge. My hair was earlobe length when I started going to her and now its several inches past my shoulders and I always get compliments on it. Check her out!

- My first visit to this salon was with Caitlin. She was great at explaining the products and how to use them. The cut seemed ok but after i got home and the days passed, i noticed it still had a mullet look to it (from previous haircut elsewhere) and was a little heavy in certain areas. I waited a couple months and went back to the salon to cut with yulia to get it fixed. I told her I like my hair to be very BIG like model type look. when she was finally done my hair was not big at all. I knew when i got home that i was going to style it my usual way to make it big and it worked. (The curls did look very pretty and healthy tho) The cut was ok and i havent had a mullet or pyramid look since. I havent gotten it cut again and that was 6+ months ago. I plan on going there one more time and seeing the last Ouidad stylist left and see if she does magic to my hair because even tho the cut was ok i dont feel it was that great. Yulia really thinned out my hair even more and i wouldve preferred her not to as my hair is already very thin. Ever since those times i got it cut, i feel i have way less hair than before. I cant really tell if its due to the haircut or if its chemicals, stress etc. If my next cut doesn't come out the way i want it, i will consider getting the Devashan haircut in NY. I heard they cut hair while its dry and i think that's a great idea. As far as Las Olas Beauty in general, i think the salon is very uptight. Nobody really talks to each other. Yulia really isnt that friendly. Neither is many of the front staff or an older man that kinda roams around (I think he could be an owner or something)

- I live in Tennessee and first went to Las Olas Beauty last summer when I was visiting South Florida. I had always been interested in the Carve & Slice haircut and wanted to give it a try. Adrianna did such an amazing job on my hair that I couldn't bear to get it cut the old way at home. Luckily, I was in town again last week and was able to go back to LOB. My hair looks even better now than it did after the first cut! Adrianna is very skilled and does a great job explaining the products and styling method. I highly recommend it. I've never been so happy with my hair.

- I have been going to Las Olas (a 3 hour drive for me...) for the last year and half. My second hair cut at las Olas was with Yulia. I have medium size length but LOTS AND LOTS of tight curly hair. She did not tamed down enough the hair. She wasn't very friendly and didn't explain anything either. My last cut was with Caitlin. SHE IS WONDERFUL. She really really thins out and work on my hair, and my haircut lasts a long time.

- I highly recommend Caitlin if you are looking for a skilled professional to give you a great cut (either the ouidad or conventional method). I have wavy hair and was amazed at how much curl she was able to bring out in my hair! Caitlin explains which products will work best for your hair and shows you step by step how to use each of them as well as how to style your hair so you can get the same results at home. I am a blonde with colortreated hair and I must also rave about my hair color after Caitlin was finished. She has great suggestions and even a vision for what coloring techniques and shades she will use in the future. Caitlin is a real gem!

- I love the way Yulia cuts my hair, and the Ouidad products are great. But I travel four hours to get my hair cut there, and two different times, they cancelled my appointment without telling me! The second time I even called a few days earlier to confirm the appointment time. When I arrived for that appointment, they told me I was not on their schedule that day, and made up a really bad excuse. They were not even apologetic--this is terrible service by the manager of the salon.

- I went to Yulia because of the Ouidad Certification and the recommendation on this site. While I was waiting to be cut, I saw her create some of the most beautiful long curls on another women. So, you can imagine, my disappointment when I walk out of the salon with a block of curls on my head. Unfortunately for me, Yulia doesn't work well with short curly hair. I even walk in with pictures of short curly hair I liked and a few styles that I did not like, so that she would no for sure what NOT to give me. I don't know what happened, but I walked out looking like the picture of what I didn't like. She does not have curly hair herself and thinks that a rounded cut is equivalent to a pyramid look. So she opted to give me a very short square head of curls. She does an amazing job with long hair though. I witnessed two of them walk out beautiful.

- My friend lives in Coral Springs and found out about this salon where they are trained in the Ouidad carve and slice method for curly hair. Yulia is our fabulous stylists and it is by far the BEST haircut I have ever had. No more poodle look and no more bell head. My curls are perfect ringlets and I get compliments almost daily. I can go for a year without getting my hair cut and it still looks just as good as when it was first cut. I travel from Tampa to go to Yulia. She taught me all the right ways to care for my curls as well. I only wish she was in Tampa!
