OK, please take this with a grain of salt........It's been a long time since I got my hair cut. And I can't remember the stylist's name. It was one of the two stylists who are "Ouidad" certified.
I made an appointment to have the stylist show me how to apply the Ouidad products. It was supposed to be a 15 minute consult where she would show me the various products that would work on my curly/frizzy hair. I got to the salon, waited about 20 minutes and then was seated. When the stylist started looking at my hair she gave me a song and dance about how she really couldn't give me a good consult because my hair needed to be "sliced" in the Ouidad way for the products to be really effective.
Well, I should have known better! My only excuse was that I was desperate for a good style..........so I agreed to the $125.00 hair cut. Knowing that she was already late, had only booked me for 15 minutes, and was essentially trying to scam me. Darn it! I should have known better!!!
Anyway.......there I was..........$125.00 lighter, and with a carve and slice hair cut .......(that literally took MONTHS to grow out completely. ) and had people saying to me "Oh no, you had your hair thinned!!!" I had giant holes in the undercut of my hair that you could totally see.
Please think twice before going to this salon!
Ouidad certified. Erin was fabulous. I was looking for someone who would help me appreciate the curls and waves I was born with. After 50 years of fighting what God gave me, I threw away my straight iron and needed help maximizing my natural cur. Erin did just that. I love my curls and everyone has told me I look ten years younger! You can' beat that!!

Turning 50 was liberating and finally had me accepting my wavy hair and giving my straight iron away. I was looking for a salon that specialized in curly hair and found Salon Cheveux on-line. Erin was wonderful! She was very patient, explained the thoroughly explained the Ouidad process and I walked out happy. The best thing was that there was no 'hard' selling of products.
