Kennetha is a jewel! I had my haircut & styled this morining & I LOVE it! I showed her pictures of style concepts I had saved to my phone. I decided to go shorter than I have in years & she was really excited to help me get the cut I was yearning for! She has cut my hair now for almost 2 years and everytime I have been so happy with the style when I leave the salon. Today was an exceptionally great time because the salon was buzzing with activity, happy conversations of weddings & life goings on, new colors & styles & friends seeing each other. I love the atmosphere of the salon. Kennetha is always taking classes & staying on top of the newest cutting & styling techniques and is never content with doing things just because she has always done them that way. If you have been searching for a sylist that is interested in making the most of your beautiful curls Kennetha will not disappoint you. Thank you Kennetha!!!

Allison is amazing. when i first visited the salon, i had my hair cut by Kenetha, who is also an excellent stylist. at the time, Allison was apprenticing, and i really appreciated the way she observed as Kenetha cut my hair, wanting to learn everything!
now that she's a full-fledged stylist, she cuts my hair. i went in wanting something really radical and edgy, a sort of faux-hawk style, and she was not intimidated in the least. she took the time to really listen to what i wanted and to really study the pictures i brought. she asked good questions and made a point to mention how my texture was different from some of the pictures and how that would impact things.
needless to say, she has continued to do an impeccable job, and i LOVED the results. the next time i went in, i mentioned a few things that had bugged me about the cut, and she listened and made the perfect adjustments. it's been over a month since she last cut my hair and it has grown out beautifully.
since she is still new, her rates are lower than Kenetha's (which is good for me, since i don't have much money to spare!), but her quality and attention to detail don't reflect a lower price.
the salon is warm and friendly, no snobbiness or high pressure product sales. on any given day you can see women in their 70s having their hair set, or young women getting a fun cut or color. they make you feel welcome and respected.
if you are anywhere near tomball (spring, the woodlands, magnolia, etc.) it would be well worth the drive.

I just happened to stumble on this website after google-ing to find a local salon who does Keratin Treatments. The above review was the first thing I saw and after calling just to ask a few questions and see if this was a place I would even consider ... I was able to get in within 2 hours. I could tell they had an honest approach by discussing the brand of Keratin treatment they used (some salons will lie and tell you their using a known, popular and expensive brand but, really it's generic) and what the process would be. I have been relaxing my hair for decades and never used nor knew much about the Keratin treatments. The stylist I selected over the phone based on her knowledge, friendliness and honesty was Allison. You could tell she took the job seriously and was thoughtful in her process. I believe she did an excellent job both in applying the treatment and also the haircut and style. She has naturally-curly hair herself. The salon and the general atmosphere was such a welcome change from the usual snobby, high-chic places that are often full of nice decor but rude and inexperienced staff that just usher you the salon without ever really trying to understand your hair type much less giving you a cut/style that's actually going to work for you. Love the salon - highly recommend!!

Kennetha has always had a flair & love of cutting naturally curly hair! She has been styling my hair for 1 year now. She took a class with Sam Villa this week 06/27/12. He is a reknowed expert on the cutting & styling of naturally curly hair. She said the class was small only 21 stylists were at the class held in Katy. She is even more (if that is possible ) excited about our hair! I had the pleasure of sitting in her chair this morning & I LOVE my new haircut! She is an artist who is not content to do things the way they have always been done them & is excited about learning new techniques. If you make an appointment with her you will not be disappointed. In fact ~ prepare to LOVE your hair!
