  I'm so glad I went and had my hair cut by Jody!!! It was a very good experience and I already made my next appointment in 8 weeks :-) Jody was very friendly and gave me A LOT of advice. She had great ideas how to style my hair and she explained every little step. I had such a wonderful time! After many bad experiences at different salons, I hesitated for a long time to see a different stylist. However, now I wish I would have gone earlier. Everybody at the salon was very friendly. I felt welcomed and it will be nice to go back.

  OMG! I just found my new stylist and I'm sooo excited. After looking at the reviews here about Jody I called to make an appointment. I called after hours (it was 8:05 pm) and left a voicemail explaining how I found them and that I wanted a cut with Jody. My plan was if they didn't call me back the next day I'd go somewhere else. Well to my surprise they not only called me back (by 10:30 am the next day) they explained in their voicemail to me that Jody was on medical leave, but there were 2 stylists, she gave me their names, that were taking Jody's curly hair clients, they were very good too.....Well I've had sooo many really bad haircuts that I wasn't too sure about going to someone who was "filling in", so I didn't call back that day. Again, to my surprise, Paige (receptionist) called me back the next day. I spoke directly with her and told her my fears and experiences with really bad haircuts. She told me that Kathy, who is the owner, has been cutting curly hair, and that she didn't think I'd be disappointed. I was in dire need of a cut so I agreed. Paige said that she'd notate how nervous I was, and that I'd had really bad experiences in the past. I got there and really liked what I saw about the salon. It has a very friendly and "homey" feel to it. I was not kept waiting. Kathy walked up to me and introduced herself. I sat down and started my story. She listened intently, asked questions, looked at my pictures I brought with me, and reiterated she understood I'd had bad experiences. Kathy explained EVERY step she made. She didn't cut my hair dry (which I'm not a big fan of anyway). She cut , checked the curl shrinkage, and asked me what I thought. My hair turned out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it. No length was cut (just a dusting) and wonderful layers at the top. I cannot say enough about Kathy and her salon. She's sweet, soft spoken, kind to her staff, personable, I could go on, but you get the idea. I will go nowhere else from now on.

  I love how Jody cut my hair! She really understands how curly works and was able to eliminate the bulk from my hair and actually give me a style. Jody also gave me great tips about styling and caring for my curls. I will definitely be going back to her!

  Another thumbs up for Jody. I found her through this website and my curls have never looked better. I had been to so many different stylists that I was convinced it must be something I was doing, not the stylist, that made my curls so sad-looking. Jody proved me wrong. I've been to her three times now, and she's kept my curls looking great while I'm growing them out. I'm not particularly thrilled with the way she styles - it tends to be a bit frizzy and poofy - but after I wash and style myself, the curls look fabulous. Bonus - $29 for a haircut, including wash and style. It can't be beat!

  I have a lot of hair, and I've been searching for years for a stylist that can help me control the poof and have a style. I finally found a great stylist. Jody made my unmanagable hair so pretty! my hair was very damanged and know its so soft and healthy. she knows what she's doing. She gave me so many great tips about how to care for my hair. The prices are also very good.
