  All I can say is that Kim is great! I have lived in the Chicago area most of my life and have had great difficulty finding someone who could cut my hair (3b/c-but it is fine and has a couple of chunks that are just wavy). I usually give a stylist at least a year to get used to my hair before I decide that they really can't cut or style it well. I have only gone to Kim once, but she was able to fix a bad haircut and still make my hair look good. She really listened to me, was good about making product and care suggestions and showed me how to do a styling technique. Bottom line, I can't say enough good things about her. (I already made a follow-up appointment.) For those not in the area or who don't have a car, the salon is not very far away from the Barrington train station.

  Leigh used to work at Shear Pleasure in Palatine but recently opened her own Salon In Barrington. I used to see her at her old salon and followed her to her new one. She is great with curly hair, and is very experienced since she has curly hair herself. Leigh is also really good at flat ironing my hair when I have special events to attend. I would recommend her to anyone. Nikki

  Kim used to be at Forbici in Arlington Hts. and now has went out on her own and opened a salon in Barrington. She is great w/ curly/wavy hair and has a great personality! She's the BEST!!! Does consultations, great prices-highly recommend!
