- I have long spiral curly red hair that is graying some. I've looked for someone who really understood and had the skill to cut curly hair most of my life....I found her. Gretchen has been making me feel happy with my hair for about five years now. She colors it so that it looks natural in the sunlight and so that it highlights my pale freckly skin. She cuts it in such a way that it decreases the frizz and lays beautifully without taking away it's personality. She really knows how to work with the individual curl style and texture to make it the best it can be. I even like what I see when I wake up in the morning : )

- Gretchen is a fantastic stylist! She did an exquisite job working with my teenage daughter, cutting her hair just as my daughter specified! My daughter as since gotten numerous compliments on her hair, and has already referred several people to Gretchen as a result. Gretchen also has been THE answer to my prayers! When it comes to curly hair, she is very knowledgeable, and eager to teach techniques and tricks that serve to maximize the beauty of curls!! Gretchen is a great listener, and seeks always to make sure she is giving me what I want in the way of a haircut or color treatment. She expertly knows how to cut and style curly hair, and she is also a pro at mixing color so to add depth and richness to hair tone. I HIGHLY recommend Gretchen to anyone with curly hair wanting a great stylist!

- I have been searching for a stylists that will listen to what I feel my hair needs. Gretchen not only did that, but she gave me suggestions that would work with my hair as well. I will definitely be back to see her and thankfully found a salon home.

- I am so happy I found Lara! She came HIGHLY recommended by two of my co-workers and fellow curlies. We clicked from the very start - she understands my hair like no one ever has and has brought out the best in my curls and color- I've never had so many compliments on my hair before! Perfect strangers tell me all the time how pretty my hair is; on elevators, in grocery stores, everywhere!
When you've had a tough year, it sure feels good to get compliments when it doesn't always feel like other things are going very well. It's amazing how a fabulous stylist and a great cut and color can really brighten up your spirits! Thank you so very much Lara, you're truly gifted and have a passion for what you do and it makes all the difference.

- Lara is the best stylist I have every gone to for my curly hair (in A2 and beyond). It is as if she is able to see my hair from my eyes and perspective. I think this is because she is very skilled at listening combined with absolutely knowing how to work with curly hair (she has curly hair). She is the first stylist who has ever helped me grow my hair longer and manage it. She consults on the products I use--she had me bring them in and then went through each one with me and did not try to sell me her products. She seeks natural looks making the most of the type of curl I have. She stops and makes sure throughout that she is not cutting too much off. I am never nervous or worried when I go into her because I know she will listen, work with me and has a lot of talent to make hair longer without making it bigger. She is wonderful with color too. She even is working with my daughter who has totally different wavy hair and is the best for her too. I highly, highly recommend her. She knows what she is doing and she is wonderful to work with.
