  I have been going to Marni for probably two years now and I have the best hair I've ever had. I have flown out to Ouidad salons (Boston and North Carolina) and Christo's Fifth Ave specifically to experience their curly hair cuts and I can say Marni's technique is as good, if not better, than I've had at those salons. My hair holds a nice curl pattern and is longer and healthier than before with no triangle shape or excessive bushiness. I also get it colored and I'm happy with the coloring too. I can confidently recommend Marni.

  I am another HUGE fan of Marni! There is no need to worry if you are going to walk out with a great cut or not. She does a wonderful job every time, listens and delivers a great hair cut. I have said good bye to my big triangle hair and hello to happy curls!

  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Marni!!! She was so great to work with. She really understands curly hair and is a great communicator. She really listened to what I wanted and expedited it beautifully. Each step of the way, she verified what was being done and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I really felt like she was making me the priority. I truly recommend her to anyone and everyone!!! I love my haircut!! (I think this is the first time I can really say that.)

  Another HUGE fan of Marni... I have had more than my share of not so great haircuts. She truly understands the curly mentality and will work with you for a style that will truly work for you. She worked with me as a grew my hair out and then helped me decide when it was time to go a little shorter. I can't say enough great things! I went to her initially from the advice fo this site... and I have never gone to anyone else since! :)

  I just got my haircut from Marni at the O Salon and Spa and have to agree it was one of the best. I too live in Chicago and couldn't believe there wasn't anyone who was very good at cutting curly hair here. The last good cut I had was 3 years ago at Ouidad in New York. I was ready to fly back there but thought I'd try one more salon, and Mundelein was closer than NY. It was well worth the trip. And it's a great Salon as well. I'm draggin all my friends there. Kind of a Spa roadtrip.

  I would travel to the ends of the earth for Marni. As it is, I travel from the city of Chicago to Mundelein to have her cut my hair because no one I've found within the city limits "gets" curly hair the way Marni does. (I used to travel to Gurnee, but Marni recently changed salons.) I've tried dozens of other stylists in the hopes of not having to drive an hour to get my long, blonde extemely curly hair cut and colored, but Marni does it best. I've sent other curly girls to her, and they were thrilled too. Marni has naturally curly hair (although she doesn't wear it curly) which adds to her understanding of how my curls work. I highly recommend her.
