- I have been going to see my very favorite curly hair specialist Sam for a while now and she recently moved to Salon Stella. WOW this place is Awesome. The decor is very well put together, like shabby chic meets industry. You can even have a cocktail while you get beautified! Super exited to go back!

- I absolutely love this salon. Carrie fixed my hair that a previous stylist at this same salon had screwed up prior to her leaving. Carrie is really friendly, personable, and knowledgeable when it comes to curly hair. She listened to what I wanted, gave me an awesome cut, and fixed my hair!!!

- I had the same hairstyle for the past 7 years (long layers, my hair was bra strap length) and needed a change. Ande had great suggestions and styling tips, and really listened to what I was looking to do. Like most curlies, after a cut I usually end up going home and re doing my hair, but not with Ande. I think Ande has given me the best haircut I've ever had! She really knows how to cut and style curly hair.

- The Carrie referenced in the Jon Oulman and Salon Stella reviews are the same person. Carrie used to work at Jon Oulman, but now owns Salon Stella with her business partner, Jamie. She's incredibly talented, professional and confidence-inspiring. She gets and likes working with curly hair and is a big advocate of proper curl maintenance. Salon Stella itself is a gem--eclectic, relaxing, cozy and unpretentious. The online booking system is convenient...and the complimentary wine, beer and coffee is a nice touch, too. - Carrie is my stylist for life. I tried two others recommended here before I found her and just wasn't happy. Carrie is all about no shampoo, natural products and natural style. She knows what will work for me, and I just relax and let her snip away. Salon Stella itself is hip, too!
