- Seriously, this is the best haircut I have had. She gave me long layers, almost side bangs, and took a lot of the bulk off. Even though she cut it wet, I don't think it mattered because it still looked amazing!!!! And she used awesome products, plus she recommended the "twist method" which I didn't know how to do. Most stylists, since im a kid/teen don't really make an effort to talk with me. But she was so nice, with no attitude. Loved it!

- I went to Elysa based on reviews I saw here. We were in Albuquerque for the weekend, and I desperately needed to chop off my almost waist-length hair. I have three kids, 6, 3, and 5 months, and I wanted an easier do, without that I'm-a-mom-and-I-don't-care-anymore look, LOL...She did a fantastic job! Elysa did a great job at both listening to what I wanted and using her own expertise to help me with my crazy mop. And she didn't scold me for liking Suave conditioner! I wish I were closer to her, but we visit the area often enough to maintain my hair.

- I went to Elysa following the reference on this website. She really understands curly hair, is non-judgemental, and takes the time to educate clueless clients like me. And best of all, I got a fabulous hair cut that suits my face, hair, and lifestyle.

- I have been wearing my curly hair straight for my whole life. The owner talked me into a new haircut that i could wear curly and i have never been happier. I use a diffuser and a few products that keep the curl happy and it takes a fraction of the time it used to. very very happy and so is my boyfriend!

- Elysa has beautiful curly hair herself and a great ability to recommend and execute styles based on the particular curl/texture of your hair and the shape of your face. She (like everyone else who works here) is young and hip, which makes this a great place for people who don't want to look like their mom or grandma. I have medium curly hair and just let her cut it fairly short - my first short cut since I was 10 - and I could not be happier. She is also great about recommending products and techniques, so that you can recreate the look you want at home. Pretty reasonable prices as well.
