- I have been going to Arlene for almost 20yrs (yikes!) and I wouldnt trust my crazy hair with anyone else. She really knows how to work with thick and curly hair.

- I have been going to Arlene for the past 5 years if not more and I have always had the best cut from Arlene out of any stylist I have tried. Not only does Arlene give me a great cut, but she is always willing to accommodate my hectic schedule by either meeting me early or later than her usual hours.
Go see Arlene, she's the best.

- I have been having my hair cut by Arlene for over 10 years. The amazing thing about her cuts is that my hair is always stylish although the basic technques apparently remain the same. I don't know how she does it. I feel she is a magician with curly hair. I was once told that curly hair is forgiving but I haven't had anything to forgive in all the time I have gone to Arlene. I think she combines artistry with great skill. I don't have the words to describe what she accomplishes but above everything else, she is a great, active listener with a grasp of the intricacies of curly hair and the skill and talent to provide the best hair cut I have ever had. BTW, I've seen her work on non-curly; and she's just as amazing.

- I went to Arlene a few years ago, while I was living in the area, based on reviews here. I loved the cut but, sadly, I moved into the city. I was in the area a few months ago and came back. I still love her work. My hair looks great; it has a lot of movement and the cut looks great even when it's been a little while. Definitely go to her!

- I have curly hair and went to Arlene regularly. I moved to Rhode Island and couldn't find anyone to control my hair. It was a disaster. I make the trip to Arlene because she is the only one who knows how to deal with my curls.

- Tracy has made my hair look awesome. She has been a colorist for many years. I used to have to get color monthly, but the way Tracy does it, the times between touch ups are much longer! Hightlights come out great.
I highly recommend Tracy. She and her assistant Marcella are terrific!

- Tracy does excellent color work. I don't have to go once a month anymore for touchups. The color blends in more with my natural color so I can go less often! Tracy does a great job on highlights too!
