  Genesis is not only a great stylist, but she is super sweet. She totally understood what I wanted and unlike other stylist I've had in the past, she didn't over cut my hair. I love her!

  Review:

  I have thick curly hair below my shoulder, and Essence is very good with using layers to reduce the "poofy-ness" I usually have. The salon also has great hair products specifically for curly hair. The best part about the salon is the price - my wash, cut and dry (with diffuser) is only $40 (probably less for shorter hair). In NYC, finding a good stylist for $100 is a true (and rare) find!
