- I visited Teresa at Beans after reading others recommendations on this site. This was my second trip to a stylist I found here, but my first (ever) good haircut. I have fine, very curly hair. Teresa cut my curls dry (another first), and spent time teaching me how to cleanse and condition my hair, how to style and maintain damage-free hair. And all those instructions came home with me on a nice print-out courtesy of Teresa). I left the salon smiling and am about to go out (without washing and restyling my hair!) -- yes, another first. Even though I live in the Midwest, I'll be making my haircut appointments with Teresa when I'm in the Philly area. When you call Beans, ask for Teresa and a "Deva" cut. The entire staff of the salon was really nice, and the downstairs beauty store was stocked full of must-have goodies and more friendly, helpful hair-pros.
