Umm, since I have my hands in my hair all the time

, I've noticed that my new growth on the sides of my head is getting flat and wavy. I can barely feel the curls, while the back is curly with defined curls and firm texture. The last time I washed, I rollerset my hair. If I wash and go, my new growth curls up everywhere. I know different textures and curl patterns are normal, but it's kind of weird . . . anyone else experiencing this?
