While in the mall, I saw a lady with waist-length natural straight hair pulled back tightly into a pony tail. What I saw next surprised me: Her scalp was visible at the hairline, about a half inch. I have seen it on women with curly hair, especially ladies with relaxers, but this is the first time I've seen it on a woman with straight hair.

Seeing her hairline reinforced that proper grooming applies to all hair types, especially if you want to keep your hair!
