Thanks to everyone who has been talking up castor oil. I recently stumbled across a bottle I bought a while back when I was trying the OCM for my skin and decided to give it a try on my hair.
It is the basic 100% castor oil used as a laxative from Walgreens, nothing special, but it is oh so very special to my curls .

Here's what I did:
cowashed with Suave
conditioned with GVP conditioning balm and a quarter size of castor oil
cold water rinse
applied Giovanni Direct Leave in and another quarter size of castor oil to soaking wet hair and plopped for 10 min.

I'm on day two hair with it DOWN which never happens, and it is perfect spiraled curls with no frizz. I think I might just go for day 3 hair, unheard of. Just wahted to share, incase it may benefit someone else.

3b/c mix; mixture of fine, med. and coarse texture with med-high porosity

Current HG routine: Tresemme Naturals conditioner; AG Fast Food LI; AG Recoil; CJ CIAB = no crunch, lots of body and awesome definition
