I have bangs too and Holy Curling Iron Batman!, I curl them straight! I've tried not wearing bangs, or side-parting my hair, but I just flat look better with bangs. Having wavier hair it probably easier to get away with them being straight. I usually blow dry them with a round brush, then curl them with an iron just to help them stay set a little when I brush them out.
The best comparison is Susan Lucci, I guess, although she wears more bangs that me. Does anyone remember when she went all curly a couple years back? I thought it aged her tremendously
. I think she looks so much better with softer waves and curls.
Hmmm .. I never though I had a big forehead, but maybe I do!
