Fellow poofy........Have you tried creams?
Lately I've been using Struttswife's method using a conditioner as a leave-in base and applying ISO Bouncy cream mixed with a little bit of Jane Carter Condition and Shine liquid and it's working well. I also mix my really thick homemade FSG with JC Cond & Shine and get pretty good frizz control. Also, I started clipping my roots and they are a little less frizzy as my hair dries.
