Are you talking about the common turban style? I'm having issues with mine right now. I'm not sure it it's the cut (I"m in need of a trim or something) or the towel and placement of it. Right now I"m doing the plopping. But my crown has no curl now. When I did the terry towel turban, I always got curl on top. So, I don't know. But I just bought a big micro towel and I sure hate to waste it -- it wasn't cheap!
I'm one of those who get bad results sleeping on a satin pillowcase. My hair gets much frizzier. Seems like my hair likes the opposite of most other's.
