I'm not too sure what I'm thankful to the U.S. for but I've never had the opportunity to be a citizen elsewhere either.

I'm not thankful for troops. I'm not thankful for our economic system. I'm not thankful for a lot of the stuff that ppl mentioned. The only time America made me proud is when Obama was elected president and I think that was from the mere shock that ppl could get past their racial and social conditioning enough to vote for a non white president.
