interesting! thanks cynthia for the explanation. lots of myths around about the ouidad carve and slice. i've been happy with my devacuts but my hair is easy and healthy and not thick. it sounds like the ouidad training process is lots more demanding and the technique is highly evolved. i did have issues with the lack of actual training time in the curlaborations as described so that someone who goes thru that is not guaranteed to be a competent curly hair cutter by that process alone. i do know people who were unhappy w the ouidad cuts and mostly they were thinner haired people. the people who like the ouidad cuts are usually those with thicker hair. please tell us more!!
