In terms of yarn braids do you just braid 'yarn' into them instead of extensions? I'm such a newbie.

Yes I learned from two videos by blackonyx77 on Youtube (Here is Part One and Part Two ). It's very easy, but time consuming. It took my 15 hours to complete. Granted they were armpit length and braided all the way down. The preparation is also time consuming. Next time I will do them just a little longer than my hair, long enough that my hair won't burn when I burn the ends and I will twist them. BUT the parts will be smaller. I'll let you guys know if it takes less time or not.
