Twilight was less than okayish. The first and fourth were good enough, but the other two were almost unnecessary.
I LOVE anything by Melina Marchetta! She's an amazing author. One of her books was turned into a movie (Looking for Alibrandi) but it probably didn't get much publicity outside of Australia. You simply MUST read Jellicoe Road and Saving Francesca. I swear, they ought to be movies.
The Book Thief didn't impress me much. I didn't finish it, but it was an interesting read.
I never did finish 1984, but I like the themes. It's a really haunting one.
The English Patient confused me. I thought the two main characters ended up together, until I looked it up on Wikipedia to make sure I understood it.
Also, the Alex Rider series should have more publicity. They made a mediocre movie based on the first book back in 2006, and it doesn't do the series justice.
A Series Of Unfortunate Events is the same story. However, in this case, the movie was actually good.
That was, like, the longest post I've ever made. :S
