I spent about 26 hours labouring before I had a c-section, and 12 of those with an epidural.
I don't feel like how those 26 hours were spent bringing me son into this world defines my self-worth as a woman...or makes me any less of a woman than anyone else.
Everyone's birthing experience is different. I handled mine in the best possible way for my body.
