Good for you

I just did my first ever Henna Gloss. I used Jamila and used about four conditioners: HE Break's Over, Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle, Organix Vanilla Silk, Lustrasilk Shea and Mango and coconut oil( I put this one in right before I applied it to my head). I didnt leave it in for an hour, maybe 56 mintues cuz I was so scared

While it didnt loosen my curl pattern, it did the opposite and just made my curls POP. Before my curls used to stand up after the henna gloss treatment, it hanged down.

I used Giovanni Smooth As Silk Shampoo because its sulfate free and I wanted to combat the drying effects of Henna. It was my first time using SAS and I dont think I'll be purchasing it again. I dont know. It made my hair have a wtf moment... Like it wasnt used to it.

I wanted to use Henna because ever since I went to get my hair trimmed/even at the Dominicans, my hair has been shedding A LOT I was hoping (assuming?) Henna would stop the shedding a little.

Right now I'm sitting here with HE's Breaks Over in my head as a deep treatment....

I got my Jamila Henna for $4. I only used one box...

For anyone that was paying attention to my post, I hoped it helped
