That's funny because I say the exact same thing. When you start CG you definitely feel like you are styling your hair at a 5th grade level. And, unlike the actual 5th grade, you are the only one styling at a 5th grade level.

I absolutely vote scrunching and not raking. I do my own version of the icequeen method. Love the icequeen!
I think scrunching and the icequeen method would have a high success rate for wavies with a weak curl pattern.
