Hmmm lets see if I can attempt to help... I have 2c dry porous hair, and I've lived in New Mexico all my life. I think Florida's much more humid?? There's hardly any humidity in New Mexico, so that may cause some extra dryness to your hair. That may cause your hair to loose volume too, cause when I'm somewhere humid my hair puffs up for sure. Aahhh I'm not sounding very encouraging am I? I use very moisturizing products,
Jessicurl Too Shea, CJDF, CJCCCLite, and my hair isn't overly dry. I don't know I actually like my hair better here vs. somewhere with humidity, so maybe you'll feel the same!
I hope someone jumps in with more advice! Lol I'm kind of a newbie and am in the process of experimenting new products and techniques myself.
