Since I cut my hair to chin-length I definitely am a wavy imposter! I somehow forgot that my waves don't really start until between my eyebrows and ears; and at this length they look less like waves and more like just messy hair. So I've actually just been wearing it straight -- I'm still CG as far as washing and products, but instead of scrunching I've been putting in Eco-Styler and then finger combing it straight. It dries pretty much straight and non-frizzy.
I am missing my waves, but on the bright side is that if I wear it straight I can definitely have 2nd (and 3rd) day hair whereas with it wavy it usually would be too wonky and/or frizzy and needed to be wet down and re-gelled every morning.
