Several years ago, using the only savory items I had on hand, I sautéed a can of tuna and a bunch of spinach in garlic and olive oil. Added a bit of salt and served it over pasta. I have refined it a bit over the years (I use 2 cans of oil packed Italian tuna and have found that whole wheat linguine stands up well to the flavors. I also serve Parmesan cheese on the side for the kids and red pepper flakes for me), but it is now a weeknight staple at our house.
