I didn't have any problems with the microbraid falling forward, and I think that's because I kept the hair in the direction I wanted it to go as I was braiding it, and because of the gel on my hair at the time. I was going to unbraid it once it was dry, but there really didn't seem to be any need. It didn't even come unbraided.

It was so small that I really wouldn't have been able to bobby pin it, but I suppose one of the baby octopus clips might have held it in place.
