Your hair looks very pretty and curly. Do you brush it? That can disrupt the curl pattern a lot.

Another tip is don't dry your hair by rubbing it with a rough towel after you get out of the shower. It creates frizz and disrupts the curl pattern. Some people gently diffuse the roots while their heads are upside down so take the weight off their curls and elimate flattness. Others gently blot their hair dry with a soft tshirt or microfiber towel- something that wont hurt the hair. Some just let their hair air dry and try not to disturb it at all until it is completely dry.

A lot of people here, including me, use the Curly Girl method, which means they don't use shampoos with sulfates in them, and no conditioners with silicones. Silicones coat the hair causing build up and limp, gross hair and requiring a sulfate to wash out. Sulfates are detergents and very harsh on your hair. Using these two ingredients can cause a cycle of crappy hair days. You can research this and lots and lots and LOTS of other advice by looking through the forums here, and searching for terms that intrest you that you want to know more about. Good luck!
