This is a great thread, I got here through a link from the UK Curlies site!
I am getting my hair cut in a couple of weeks & am thinking of going for a shoulder length bob, what I'm wondering is what kind of layers should I ask for.
My hair is somewhere between wavy & curly depending on its mood (2b/3a), collar bone length with long layers at the moment (about chin length when pulled down), I need a change as I feel my hair always looks a bit too messy & straggly these days, I fancy a more 'styled' look but don't want to straighten.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have gone to my current hairdresser for a few years now & she is quite good at doing more or less what I ask her as she knows I know my own hair pretty well.
