But seriously, after I wash and dry my hair, my hair dries SO fast that I have to keep spraying it with water when I'm styling it (I like to twirl individual curls to make them all spirally).

I squeeze out excess water a few times in the shower and then blot with a T-shirt. I spend a good two or three minutes blotting out the water. Within an hour and a half, most of my hair is dry.

I rarely use styling products in my hair though (maybe once a week at most?). That probably helps with drying time.
Not sure why you're so sure your hair isn't porous??? Everything you say about it would make one believe that it is. Some hair is naturally porous even without chemical damage or heat.

My hair is fine, thin and there is not longer a lot of it (plus it's shorter then chin length after my haircut yesterday.) Even after diffusing for ten minutes today, it took 3-4 hours to dry with two layers of not a lot of product.
