Oh mah goodness, that soup was fantastic! The perfect thing for a cold night and I can't wait for leftovers. Such a relief after many lackluster meals lately.
Changes I made if anyone is interested:
-Trader Joe's chicken breakfast sausage
-Added celery and carrots
-Herbs: dried sage, basil and oregano (skipped the rosemary, not my favorite)
-Low sodium V8 instead of tomato sauce
-Half chicken stock, half vegetable broth

I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places.
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
