TRBL, I've expressed my disdain for cupcakes and their overly sweet, flawed frosting to cake ratio mediocrity many a time. I wish the cupcake craze would die a fiery death.
And while I like cake (preferably free of cloying frosting), I did start a thread that proves that pies are without a doubt, superior. 100% fact.
But olive oil cakes, yogurt cakes, and many others (hello lemon rosemary pound cake and black raspberry buttermilk bundt) are pretty great.
