You're right, you can't please everyone and you shouldn't try to either. I've noticed that most curlies get offended when someone says they should STRAIGHTEN their natural curls. At least she likes your curls. But it shouldn't even matter. It's YOUR CURLS, YOUR HAIR, and You can wear it however YOU want.  You are the most important person! Its all about you! Please yourself, not them.
