Celebrated my uncle's bday today since Passover starts tomorrow and we wanted him to be able to have cake, and it it too.
Dad made enchiladas using the recipe from a local restaurant but added some extra chilis and stuff. My stepmother made a 3 layer cake w/ chocolate and peanut butter cake layers, a peanut butter icing and chocolate ganache over the top.
I made an herb and fennel salad to start off, with mixed bitter lettuces, dried cranberries, slight amount of cheddar and pumpkin seeds.
Just finished making the soup for matzoh ball soup tomorrow. Mom will make the matzoh balls. We'll add baby spinach to what's left of tonight's salad plus some carrots and broccoli. Main course will be chicken since I think I'm the only one in the family who makes lamb.
I prefer rice pudding without raisins, too!
Random question: anyone else make your own beef jerky? People keep offering to pay for ours, so we're trying to come up with new flavor combos.

But at least the pews never attend yoga!
