Heh, I never have chocolate chips. I can't remember the last time I made chocolate chip cookies (pretty much never crave them), but I would wager at least 5 years. I chop chocolate for them anyway and use chopped chocolate for everything else, too. And it's fairly pricey to have that much of it around.
