i too have been stick with it in a modified way. it works!! my thinking is just like yours, unless it's something i really want i skip the carbs. low carb eating really isn't that hard if you just stop to think before you eat. i feel better and have less face puffiness. i also focus on getting in good protein and lots of veggies. it works. i still don't eat many sweets. i actually haven't weighed recently but i feel lighter. i'm also doing insanity now so i'm trying to increase my burn on both ends, from nutrition and exercise.
