I started low carbing again this year after putting on a lot of weight in my middle last year.

I've lost 25 pounds so far, and a whopping 7.5 inches from my waist. I have a family full of insulin resistant folks, and the midsection weight gain last year proved that I can become diabetic like so many of them.

I've been working a lot with George Stella's cookbooks for variety inspiration.

ETA: my goal range is 150-165, and I just got to 165, so that's a relief.
