Is it okay to co-wash or shampoo right after you use Henna (or RC) or should you just do a thorough (plain water) rinse and wait 24 hours or so, to allow the color to set before doing a normal 'poo and condition...

I have heard varied suggestions, but wanted to know which most people prefer to prevent or minimize fading.
