I posted a similar thing when talking about my super-fine hair, but thought I would try to get some more specific responses.

I recently tried a shampoo/conditioner for fine hair that has very little moisture in it, and my hair has looked great for 3 days---no greasiness, breakouts, zip. And it's been very dry and cold here. (Admittedly, I'm straightening in the cold, because I'm not getting much curl.)

Shouldn't I need more moisture for this cold, dry weather? I'm wondering if I have just been WAY overconditioning in the summer when it's humid. I have been having problems year-round with greasiness and breakouts along my hairline (hair product-related---I still need more moisturizer for my skin in the winter). Is anyone else having this experience? Should I try to go lighter with my products year-round?
