I'm super happy halibut is in season! Pan fried some in butter, shallot, white pepper and celery seed last weekend. Yum!
Tried morel mushrooms the next day (to accompany cod). I was unimpressed. They didn't have anything unique (other than appearance) or particularly yummy about them. They were shipped from half way across the US so may try fresher local ones this weekend. But last weekend's weren't worth $60/lb.
