I think the last way I applied it is very similar to how you described in that I focused on my ends first but I used the KCCC just for that and then I used my big tub of cheap gel for bulk part of my hair.....but I added a final step of going back and adding more KCCC to the ends again. This is because I'm constantly adding more water and I think it's washing away some of the product.
Overall I like using the conditioner as my leave in especially because I have times when I just say no to gel for weeks. Occasionally I use moose when I'm on a gel strike.
Any thoughts or techniques for moose?

What kind of mousse are u using?
My technique for applying mousse is after my normal cowash/RI/LI routine, blot hair with old shirt & then section off hair applying mousse to each section. I love mousse but can't find something that's CG near me.
